“God Make Me Over!” by MsHoliness A.

Updated: Feb 21, 2022

How many of you came into 2022 with New Years resolutions, because you sensed that you needed some change in your life. Well, let me suggest to you that, not only does some things need resolve in our lives as Gods wonderful people of purpose; but that some of us, many of us, most of us are in need of a makeover. When I say makeover, I am not just talking esthetically, I am talking inwardly; for some of us a heart check is necessary, a mind regulation is needed, a taming of the spirit is long over due, and a cleansing of the soul needs to be had.

You see, so often it is human nature to focus on the outward appearance, and oft times as people we neglect the things that really need tending to. Things such as the conditions of our hearts, our minds, our souls and our spirits. There is a popular verse of scripture in the word of God that says, “For what will it profit a man/women if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”, (Mark 8:36). In other words what benefit is it to us as God’s wonderful people of purpose, if we heap up great riches unto ourselves, get all dressed up everyday in diamonds-Gucci and gold, get body enhancement, veneers, take lavish vacations, and be seen as powerful to others; if we neglect our souls. Because it is of no effect to look prosperous outwardly, if your are impoverished internally.

You see the real wealth is in tending to our souls, and feeding our spirits with the things of God, that we might posses a right spirit ie. a spirit of righteousness; allowing God to perpetually create in us a clean heart, where there is this renewing of the mind that takes place within our lives daily, that we might grow and develop to the degree that we are fully capable of bringing the purposes of God to past for our lives.

So if you have in fact gotten to a place where you need resolve, resolution, and restoration in the inner workings of your life; I dare you to ask God to make you over, where he begins to renovate your heart, your mind, your soul and your spirit. Refortifying you for His glory and honor, where you live out all of the purpose that has been ordained for your life. For you were anointed for more and I know it, Amen.
